About this event:
Would you know what to do if someone told you they were contemplating suicide? Would you recognize the warning signs?
QPR is a suicide prevention training designed to help participants learn how to support someone who is having thoughts of suicide. Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs, ask about suicide, persuade people to accept professional help and refer to community resources. Suicide prevention and education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know.
